UNEQUAL TRADE BETWEEN RSA & URT: THE ROLE OF AGRICULTURE IN DECREASING IMBALANCES

His Excellency Sindiso Mpenela, the Embassodor of Republic of South Africa (RSA) in the United Republic of Tanzania (URT) with his delegates today paid a short visit at ARTI - Tumbi. Speaking at the dispay of indigenous fruit products by the Tumbi Women Group, His Excellency said there is the great opportunity for reducing trade imbalances existing between RSA and URT through fresh and processed agricultural products. He called on the women groups,other participants and general Tanzanian public to take advantage of current initiatives by leaders of the two countries to see to it that more products from Tanzania are exported to South Africa.
